Need to go from Sosua to Punta Cana airport

I would say no. You would have to take a bus to Santo Domingo and then transfer to one going to Bavaro/Punta Cana.

The transport unions have blocked Caribe Tours and Metro Bus from operating public transport services in the eastern region.

A company called Expreso B?varo has the monopoly, so you have to take a bus to Santo Domingo and take a taxi from Caribe Tours/Metro to their terminal - more like an office - on Calle S?nchez Ram?rez, just off Av. M?ximo G?mez.

you'd probably have to take the 5:20am from sosua on caribe to catch the 11am to puj for a 2pm arrival at the airport. figure 200 peso cab ride from caribe to bavaro express and an about an hour wait. there is a wendy's/sharro across the street from the bus station (pc express) if you are hungry

grab the earliest Metro or Caribe Tours Bus down to Santo Domingo. in Santo Domingo at their station take a cabby to Parque Enriquillo, tell the cabby you want there the station for the Bus to Higuey. they depart there every 20 minutes all day long, modern comfy busses with A/C and WIFI running. in Higuey they drop you off at the Bavaro Bus station, where 3 lines depart. named Bavaro, Cabeza de Toro and Punta Cana. you take the bus for Punta Cana, departs every 20 minutes and drops you off right at the airport entrance.
the Bavaro Express Bus departs only around 4 times per day, if you miss the departure or luck out as they often sell the tickets for a ride ahead of time, you would be stuck in santo domingo with your flight departure approaching.
the Route via Higuey is the most effective, easy to use, comfy Busses and quick.
