When Wally and freakshow of weasel politicians from the US come to visit nothing good can come of it.

Possible reasons for the visit:

1. Need agreements signed to more easily pry cash from ex-pats living in the DR.

2. Push agenda for 'One Island' vision and lessening of DR sovereignty.

3. Lock in DR votes for Israel in the UN.

4. Find and buy votes to help mainstream and 'normalize' abortion and homosexuality.

I don't wish these alien visitors a pleasant visit.

If anyone knows where this delegation of perversion is staying let me know so we can arrange a welcome from real Americans.

I think they just figured __ck this cold weather. We need a break where it is 80 degrees. Good excuse to get out of Washington.

No shock they are all Democrats. Last I checked a fair number of Americans share similar viewpoints because they still keep electing Democrats to various positions.

Rosa De Lauro, a wealthy long term female member of Congress from Connecticut who is a Democrat with Italian grandparents.

Anna Eshoo, member of Congress from Silicon Valley. She is a Democrat and a Chaldean Catholic.

Nydia Vel?zquez, Puerto Rican member of Congress from NY (Brooklyn, lower Manhattan and Queens) and a Deocrat.

Jim McGovern, Democratic member of congress from Massachusetts. One of the most liberal members of congress and a Democrat.

David Cicilline member of congress from Rhode Island. Was first openly gay mayor of Providence and a Democrat.

Wyndee Parker Deputy Staff Director, House Intelligence Committee for the Democrats.

Nancy Pelosi Member of congress from California, former speaker of the house and a Democrat.

American (D) and (R)

Hmm, I am confused...
Does one not spell 'Deocrat' as Theocrat?? ;)

But then this lady would be a Republican, right?
Oh, I am so confused...
I'll never understand American politics. ;)

A typo. She is a Democrat. But I get your joke.

With that cast of characters...there is only one "real" reason they are there....the Haitian situation in the DR.

McGovern is well known for his desire to involve himself in those types of issues (Nicaragua, El Salvador).

You're kidding, right?

You posted my answer and then asked the same question.

Is this like one of those paintings at a mall where you stare at it for 20-minutes and a dinosaur appears?

I do not , in any of your posts, see a person's name that you consider to be a good one. You typed:

Those whose primary interest and loyalty doesn't lie with a foreign government (I tried to insert a phlegmatic sound for you but it's hard to do while typing).

But there is not one person's name listed as to whom you consider good, just the bad in your OP.

I would have to agree with #'s 1, 2 and 3.

They are part of a larger delegation that was in Cuba earlier this week and widely reported. But this visit to the DR is under the radar for some reason.
