I and 3 friends will be on a charity mission in Santo Domingo for 5 months starting next week. I was just wondering if there are reliable car for rent companies there that we can use for the entire duration of our stay. a not so old sedan will do. any help guys?

Warning to all. If you solicit clients without being an active advertiser, you will be erased and blacklisted.
It may be different now, but we always rented cars for months at a time before shipping in our own car. We used Avis the last several times, and we had to make individual one-month reservations. At the end of the first month, we went in and paid the bill, and opened another contract for the next month, etc., etc. If we liked the car we had, we just kept it.
