Does anyone know of a sewing supply store on the island. My wife is looking for a sewing cutting mat. Approx 30 inches square. We are in the Bavaro area but do go to SD and La Romana from time to time. Ay info would be greatly appreciated.
Hidelisa Centro in downtown has one in the window for 9,000 pesos. You can find them in many stores. I'm looking for a good used one in the Sosua area. I just have to ask around. They are great machines built right in to a great extendable table.

Never been in there but there's a little store in Veron in Plaza Velero (where the statues are). If you enter beside Banco Popular, it's just after the autocaja. Good luck!
