If you're having problems streaming, watching videos, or other issues with your internet these past few days, don't use Speedtest.net or speed.com.do to check your speed, those are not accurate results.

They are doctored and don't show your actual download speed.

Use http://www.testmy.net and test your download speed.

Speedtest.net and speed.com.do both say I am getting 10/mbps.

Testmy.net shows what my actual download speed is by downloading random data.

This has been happening since Friday and I've made a report with Claro.

If you make a report too and they don't fix it within 2 days you're supposed to get credit on your bill (we'll see if it happens).

They also said they are aware of this problem but have no timeline for a fix.

I live just west of Bavaro and last week we were without Internet service for 2 days. Neighbors on other providers had service. Claro could really improve their product. Unfortunately the management in our complex are a few bricks shy of a load and can't seem to get it together.
