- and I got my first impressions of the message board! So far I took my first conclusions:

Positive: easier overview what is avaiable on subjects and gossip is of the regulary board! Your ID is reserved and nobody can misuse it!

Negative: It does not show you up the threads you have visited, they remain in the same color! And how do I know some new messages have been posted on a particular subject I am interested in?

Of course all new things have to sink in first but you Bob might give me and others a help on the above negative subjects!

You can click on the "View New Posts" link on the opening page.
You can subscribe to a thread, "Receive updates to this thread". The down icons show when a post has been added to a thread, also shows a little yellow icon next to the post date and time.

I know this style of board will take a little getting used to as it's such a change from the old one. But we feel this board is far superior and most people once they get used to this never want to go back.
