It's that time of year again to guess the number of dead and wounded during this years Semana Santa. I think last years numbers were 33 dead from 356 accidents.
I won last year but I can't remember what I guessed.
I will start this years pool with guessing 42 dead with 440 accidents. I hope I am ridiculously high but it's any body's guess.

COE bulletins talk about dead and "affected" not "injured". this year i am going with 30 dead and 750 affected.

Bragging rights, and shame from the posters with higher morals than us. Thats pretty much it.

Not exactly sure. I think last year was dead and injured from accidents over the easter weekend. To me that would include all deaths and injuries caused by accidents. Traffic, drownings, upset putas etc.
I think we should use Dominican Todays as the official score keeper

I think I'll bet how many stray dogs will get killed in semana santa, either by poisoning, driven over, or just because of lack of food.

I am still planning on it, I haven't spoken to the 'man behind the desk counting the money' since the first time, but he seemed pretty eager to have me!

36 road death, 8 minors from alcohol poisoning, 22 love murders, 6 PN deaths, 45 loss of limb, 15 facial scaldings and a pardridge in a pair tree!!!
