I just read on DR1 that they will be implementing a ban on all alcohol sales from midnight Thursday April 2 to Midnight Friday April 3. I haven't laughed this good in years. Who will enforce this well thought out plan. Drunk cops.

Sure hope this doesn't mess with the death pool numbers.

I think this has been recent policy, so it should not harm the numbers in any new way. Don't worry, this is the time when even Dominicans can plan ahead by one day.

as Gringo and I read this we are scrolling Google Maps to find the ATM's that are closest to liquor outlets....
and vice versa (for insurance)

the 6 'P' principle will prevail............

on DR1 news it says the ban is until midnight Saturday but I think they mean midnight Friday, its a 24hour ban on sales, not consumption.

looks like (cough, cough) misunderstanding in translation.
from midnight to midnight is how i understand it.

Real alcohol consumers know what to do. Party, drink then fall asleep. By the time you wake up ban over.

Some people see 12:00 of the day as noon and some see it as midnight. Clear as mud.
