Good evening all,

I'm on a business trip in Boston for a week or two. I was wondering if anybody here is a local and could point me to a good dominican restaurant. I hear there's a decent dominican presence here. I'll like to introduce some of
My white colleagues to some good Dominican food hahaha. Thank you

Lynn, Lynn, the city of sin, you'll never come out the way you went in, what looks like gold is really tin, the girls say 'no' but they'll give in, Lynn, Lynn, the city of sin.

I stay in Lynn when I visit Boston.
My sister lives there , but in the "Good Section", YES there IS a "Good Section"!!!
But for a real "Dominican Experience" continue north to Lawrance Ma.
Labeled as the "Most Corrupt City" in the USA.
Dominicans run the city council, and Mayor's office.
Drugs, corruption, prostitution, and Garbage everywhere!
You'll think you are in Santo Domingo.
Your friends will love it!!!
I know I DO!

Can't wait to go with "Celt202" one NIGHT!!!! :knockedou:knockedou:knockedou

There are lot's of Dominican restaurants in and around Boston, however, if you're entertaining others I would recommend
Merengue Restuarant on Blue Hill Ave. in Roxbury. The parking can be tough and the area's a little rough, but it's a nice place. They also have a full liquor license.

Also nice for entertaining, and with parking and not so rough of a location is Las Delicias Dominicanas located at 635 Hyde Park
Ave in Roslindale. They have a beer/wine license. PM with anymore Boston info you might need. Enjoy.

Merengue is super, but Providence food is better

had lunch there last week

Hector Pina is boss/owner
worth going just to see all the photos on the wall of the famous Dominicans that have visited there: from Juan Luis Guerra to Robinson Cano
just tell him to offer Casabe from Moncion and mamba from Dajabon.

I prefer La Roca in Providence as that is where the former mayor and Dom/American Angel Taveras went to lunch with me in December

Most of the areas with the best choices might make your white colleagues a tad uncomfortable. I would just take them to Man? Escondido Caf? for lunch. Many places near Boston close by 7PM.
