Only in the DR - Elevator Instructions

Funny you posted that because my building could use those signs. I get on the elevator on the first floor. Now there is someone on the third floor that wants to come down so they push the up and down button which only means the elevator now has to stop on the third floor before it gets to the fifth floor

Door opens on the third and I give the thumb up sign. Sometimes they get on the elevator and ride up then the elevator stops on the third floor again on the way down. This just happens way too often.

Sometimes I am tempted to push every button when I get off, but think just shaking my head is the proper thing to do.

So those signs would be helpful.

I wonder how many people just keep pushing on the signs and not the buttons???????????

Presione is the wrong word. Empuje.or oprima is the better word.

And it does not matter where you are in the world, you always see people that are summoning the elevator push the button once, then about 20 seconds later again, and again, and again....

Calling the emergency number "9-11" doesn't work here in the DR.
Dominicans can't find the "11" on there phones!!!
