I just finished writing another book. It's bizarre. It's crazy. It's completely absurd. But they're all true stories. The book is called "Don't Feed the Natives (Fear & Loathing in the Dominican Republic meets Zen & the Art of Riding Lawn Mower Maintenance).

The book is about a man riding a John Deere riding lawn mower throughout the Dominican Republic with a Norwegian Hitchhiker. The book is the funniest book you'll ever read about the DR or your money back!

Frank,

I've really enjoyed your posts, you are a fabulous writer. I see you have a few books out there. What would you recommend as a first read?
Others are free to chime in as well.
I've obviously spent some time in the DR, but I've also lived in San Francisco and see you have a book on that. I think I'd prefer the crazy DR stories more though.

Another excellent display of your writing talent. Love Juanito the one armed cab driver! The taxi frenzy at POP is perfectly described, machetes and all!

This is the funniest book you'll ever read about the DR, or your money back! Cabarete is featured prominently in this book--as are several other towns on the North Coast. It's really an adventure--a Time Travel, if you will--around this crazy island of ours on a riding lawn mower with a hitchhiker.
