Ratifican llamado a paro por 48 horas en SFM

Suggest that anyone planning on travel in the Central Cibao forget it for 2 days.

There is a strike in SFM and Salcedo already announced and my experience is that one could expect strikes anywhere from Castillo, Cotui, Moca and even Bonao as well.

Be careful.

Protestas en localidades dominicanas contra la corrupci?n - DiarioDigitalRD

Seems there has been or will be more protests going on in Cibao.........mention of Esperanza, Mao, Moca and even Santiago to add to SFM, Salcedo, Bonao and Villa Bisono.

I am sure we will hear of more places affected and one wonders for how long these types of actions will continue. Seems the people of the Cibao are very restless against alleged government corruption.
