    Default Slow Claro anyone?

    Tonight Wednesday 22/April

Claro very slow, modem syncs at 12 mbps, but getting just 5-6 mbps off Claro's speed test website, and 1.5-2 mbps off International speed test websites, downloads currently running at about 1.7 mbps

Mine (also fiber) is not consistently slow but drops now and then which makes I can't flawlessly watch tv streams. I should have 20MB, but sometimes I have 30 and other moments it drops to below 10, or even goes away for a second. It was more consistent before I changed to fiber.

I've got Claro DSL (6Mb down / 1Mb up). It's been slow for the last 3 days. Upload speeds are relatively normal but downloads are all over the place. Last night was so bad I couldn't even watch Hulu.

I'm tethered to my iPhone (Claro 4G/LTE) now so I can at least get some work done. Just did a speed test and it's blazing fast: 80Mb down / 21Mb up. I wish their DSL could go as fast as their 4G!

    I'm in Bavaro (El Cortecito)

Hmm... how odd. I find Claro's 4G/LTE best in El Cortecito. Over by Super Pola I only get 3G. You sure you're connecting to the 4G network?
