With the price of flat screen smart TV's hitting about $10 an inch in the US, what are such TV's currently priced at in the DR?

For example here is a refurbished VIZIO smart TV with Wifi built in for $599.99 with the fifty dollar off code I just received in their email ad. I have no problem purchasing refurbished items as long as I know upfront they are refurbished (unlike in the DR where they are sold as new).

New 55" are about 50,000 pesos, but all depends on the brand ofcourse and yes or no smart tv, 3d and 4k. What I've seen is that 60" is still at a too much difference from 55", not sure why.

I'm still stuck with our 26". Thought many times of changing it, but actually it's only the children that watch, and they sit 25 inch from the screen anyway.
