Caribbean waters off south coast are teeming with some sort of seaweed. The beaches at Najayo and Palenque were loaded. We heard eight truckloads have been removed in Najayo and one guy helping is very itchy. On the way to the airport this morning all the water along the malecon had it, as did the waters near airport. It's brown and looks like sandbars.

Anyone know where it came from??

I've heard it's all from the Sargasso Sea and this happens every once in a while.

I was in vocal China earlier today. There were piles of it on the street waiting to be carted away. In the water it extended many feet. Along along the malecon on and the highway it was visible.

North coast has had it all winter

we harvested it,,, great garden fertilizer

the whole Caribbean has it.... algae blooms
