Quick question. I'm entering with NM Visa for first time. What should i expect when they ask for payment of tourist tax? What will i do different at the airport?

Walk past the tourist card takers and proceed directly to immigration. If the card takers give you a hard time, show them your visa, not that they would know what it is. If there is a lane for non-tourists, you can probably avoid the masses by using that lane.
