To celebrate my wife's parents 50th Anniversary. It would be Christmas week for 5 days, 4 nights. The budget is 10,000. Would like to have food included. Looking for suggestions

Agreed on SHR with a US$10,000 budget. Better book now, they go very quickly over this period.

The problem may be the 4 nights over that period.... some rentals will want a week minimum at that time of year.

You'll have lots of choice for that budget.

If you want to find many listings and comparisons go to vrob.com (vacation rental by owner). I'm assuming that your budget is in US Dollars. You should be able to find a killer property.

Thanks for the suggestions and help. I know my wife wants to have the food on sight and not have to go out for it. Christmas week makes it hard to find rentals for less than the full week.

I suggest two homes at SeaHorse Ranch. The office will NOT discount on those two weeks (infact Im waiting for a month x-mas rental deposit now) and the normal X-mas week will be 1195.00 a night. So for four nights and two villas that is your best bet (and meet your 10,000). Most homes will sleep 8-12 and includes a daily maid/cook. Besides the amazing amenities of SeaHorse Ranch your exactly in the middle of Sosua/Cabarete area.

You can PM me for personal contacts in the office, but X-mas week is tough. NOW, contact me another time and I'll jump hoops for you :)

There is no villa availability over Christmas/New Years. Generally speaking the villas are booked solid 11 months in advance and are only available to members for this time period.

Villas available in Dec 2015 before Dec. 23 only.

Hideway Beach Resort in Cabarete would be a good choice because the onsite restaurant Chez Arsenio's is one of the best in the area.

In that case, it may be possible if the OP secures a booking for 2016 through a member with sufficient status not to get bumped.
