WOW, road is closed. Side streets are crowded with people in line for the immigration office. Lots of cops and some military folks. Last day to submit papers for residence. Take alternate route.

Drove past immagration/police office in POP this morning
some folks are taking the threat seriously. Im waiting for the big roundups to start. Government trucks filled with people enroute to the border then taking a full day to cross right back into the DR. In Sosua the illegals do not look worried. Its business as usual.
