I can more see POS as I think that there is already solid business travel to SDQ and there is also a Dominican population in POS.
i do not think that too many Jamaicans want business ties with the DR, in part because of things like this..

for those who cannot be bothered to read the article, what it chronicles is the expropriation of over 300 million dollars worth of investment in the DR by a Jamaican businessman. the matter will probably end up in arbitration in Brussels..

As far as I know the contract with that company has some ilegals and incinstitutionals points, so I presume international court can not do too much about it.

They probably won't. Now they will have to issue refunds for all sold tickets for cancelled flights.

Used this airline to go to Aruba two weeks ago. Had to pay $35.00 exit fee from Aruba, described as a charge for the airline's use of departure gate. My friend flying out on a different airline didn't have to pay that fee; at least not out of her pocket at the ticket counter.

PAWA passengers stranded at the airport:

and the airline is asking the authorities to reconsider the suspension so that dominican travelers can continue to enjoy this "stable and efficient" company:

This is shaping up to be a rather unpleasant eventuality.
