Could someone please tell me what the following words translate to in English? (babelfish won't translate them):

menear
suavecito
ac?balo

(o.k., I confess, I'm trying to translate King Africa's "Bomba!") :p

menear = to stir, to shake, to move
suavecito = smoothly, softly
ac?balo = end it (I know that in the context where you heard it is slang for something, only that I don't know what)

Heres what I got:
first one = shake
second=smoothout
third =finished

Menear is the infinitive of the verb, therefore the correct translation should also be the infinitive of the English verb(s): To shake, To move or To stir.

second=smoothout
Suavecito from suave is an adjetive. I think the correct translation should be smoothly or softly.

third =finished
The "?" on top of the "a" indicates that it is a command. (in that specific case), the ending lo indicates that the action is being directed toward the third person of the singular masculine or neutral. Had it being the feminine the ending would have being la as in ac?bala. So, regardless of what the slang means the literal translation is finish it or end it.

Here's what I ended up with (how bad is it?) :p

Bomba! (sensual)
Un movimiento sensual (sensual)
Un movimiento muy sexy (sexy)
Un movimiento muy sexy (sexy)
Y aqu? se viene el africano con el baile que es una (bomba)
Para bailar esto es una (bomba)
para gozar esto es una (bomba)
para menear esto es una (bomba)
Y las mujeres lo bailan as?, as?, as?, as?
Todo el mundo una mano en la cabeza
una mano en la cabeza
un movimiento sexy
un movimiento sexy
una mano en la cintura
una mano en la cintura
un movimiento sexy
un movimiento sexy
Y ahora empiezo a menear
suavecito para abajo, para abajo, para abajo
suavecito para arriba, para arriba, para arriba
suavecito para abajo, para abajo, para abajo
suavecito para arriba, para arriba, para arriba
Bomba (sensual)
Un movimiento sensual (sensual)
Un movimiento muy sexy (sexy)
Un movimiento muy sexy (sexy)
Y aqu? viene el africano con el baile que es una (bomba)
Para bailar esto es una (bomba)
para gozar esto es una (bomba)
Todas las mujeres lo bailan (bomba)
Todas los hombres lo bailan (bomba)
Todas las radios lo ponen (bomba)
Las discotecas lo ponen (bomba)
Toda la gente lo baila (bomba)
Y las mujeres lo bailan as?, as?, as?, as?
Todo el mundo
una mano en la cabeza
una mano en la cabeza
un movimiento sexy
un movimiento sexy
una mano en la cintura
una mano en la cintura
un movimiento sexy
un movimiento sexy
Y ahora empiezo a menear
suavecito para abajo, para abajo, para abajo
suavecito para arriba, para arriba, para arriba
suavecito para abajo, para abajo, para abajo
suavecito para arriba, para arriba, para arriba
Sexy, mami (sensual)
acaba, acaba, ac?balo y acaba, acaba, acaba, acaba, ac?balo
y acaba, acaba, acaba, acaba, ac?balo y acaba, acaba, acaba, acaba, ac?balo

According to BabelFish (with help from Pib):

Pump! (sensual)
A sensual movement (sensual)
a very sexy movement (sexy)
a very sexy movement (sexy)
and here comes the African with the dance that is one (pump)
to dance this is one (pump)
to enjoy this is one (pump)
to move this is one (pump)
and the women dance it thus, thus, thus, thus
Everybody hand on the head
a hand on the head
a sexy movement
a sexy movement
a hand on the waist
a hand on the waist
a sexy movement
a sexy movement
And now I begin to move
smoothly down, down, down
smoothly above, above, above
smoothy down, down, down
smoothly above, above, above
Pump (sensual)
a sensual movement (sensual)
a very sexy movement (sexy)
a very sexy movement (sexy)
and here comes the African with the dance that is one (pump)
to dance this is one (pump)
to enjoy this is one (pump)
All the women dance (pump)
All the men dance (pump)
All the radios put (pump)
the discotecs put (pump)
All people dance it (pump)
And the women dance it thus, thus, thus, thus
Everybody hand on the head
a hand on the head
a sexy movement
a sexy movement
a hand on the waist
a hand on the waist
a sexy movement
a sexy movement
And now I begin to move
smoothly down, down, down
smoothly above, above, above
smoothly down, down, down
smoothly above, above, above
Sexy, mami (sensual)
a sensual movement (sensual)
a very sexy movement (sexy)
a very sexy movement (sexy)
and here comes the African with the dance that is one (pump)
to dance this is one (pump)
to enjoy this is one (pump)
All the women dance (pump)
All the men dance (pump)
All the radios put (pump)
the discotecs put (pump)
All people dances it (pump)
But this story finishes, finishes, finishes finishes, finishes, finish it
and finishes, finishes, finishes, finishes, finish it and finishes, finishes, finishes,
finishes, finish it and finishes, finishes, finishes, finishes, finish it

Please to remember that these were double entendres

Menear - to move, shake or jostle as in that song "Men?ame, men?ame, men?ame los mangos...."

And of course, "?c?balo" - finish it! Is dealing with something much more interesting....

Do you piki pani?

The title of a song. The translation from spanglish to english is of course "I don't speak Spanish".
I think it is a lament of lovers who suffer a language barrier.
But I'm not sure as I no "piki pani" very well.
But it would be a fun translation project.

Translation in the proper context

The translation of the words in this song should be put into context:

For instance, "menear" or "menealo" refers more to "shake your booty". It is implied that when you say "shake it" in a sexy song it refers to your booty.

In the case of "acabalo", it is more like "finish him up" or "finish her up" in a sexual sense. In other words, the implied meaning is that you take the upper lead in the sexual act. You are either the macho guy who can handle that woman or the woman is so good she is going to knock him off having sex.

"Suavecito" has the implied meaning that you do sex smoothly as opposed to rough sex, in other words "do it softly" or "smooth"

Dominican music, like rap, is very sex oriented and the implied meaning goes direct to the thing.
