I use Amerident which has several offices in the country. The location I go to is in the shopping plaza at Tiradentes and 27th of February. I think it is the largest and yes it is always busy. Some feel it is a factory but in reality it is a one stop shop for everything with specialists in each field of Dentistry. If you need crowns and or implants they have an excellent Dra. named Maria Garcia who is fluent in English. I have insurance through Palic Prestige which justs discounts dental work. A recent crown from a cracked tooth had cost me $8,100 pesos including X-rays, provisional crown, and the crown itself - 3 visits. No root canal needed on this one. Without insurance it would have been just over $13,000 pesos. I recall paying between five and 600 hundred in the USA with insurance that covered 50%. So true cost $1k - $1,200.
