link?
only 30 days?
is per diem collected at ferry and do you know how much it is?
pre inspection by whom? for what?
(medfly? medical? --oh just kidding.. but there are some silliness here - as in you have to have a medical certificate to pay the exit fee at the migration in the capital but not if you go to the airport)
MA:
Hard to link to personal knowledge, but try DOT (Department of Transportation).
Yes, only 30 days.....it is tied to Dominican Law as to how long you can legally drive in the country on a foreign drivers license.
Per diem fine comes from DGA and the minimum per diem fine is $20.00 a day.
Pre-inspection is to certify the vehicle is not reported stolen, no outstanding fines/tickets issued against the vehicle.
Vehicle cannot have any broken/cracked/chipped glass.
Any non-original parts on the vehicle must have receipts.
You cannot transport commercial goods in the vehicle.
