If anyone has had experience with Dialysis Centers in Santo Domingo, I would appreciate hearing of any and allin Santo Domingo. I am also interested in out of pocket cost per treatment.

My wife has ESRD here in USA. Currently looking at all transplant options. Considering kidney donor could be family member in DR. Getting family member to USA to donate kidney....difficult? Or going to DR for transplant....out of pocket cost I would assume is expensive...hmmm relative.

Anyone that has had experience with this type of circumstance, share.

And Thank You, Paul

I looked into this several (8 to 10) years ago. Unfortunatley I do not recall the details.
There were at least two perhaps three clinics in Sto Dgo at that time.

I do not remember much of the details except I believe that the US based support
organizations have details of vacation area clinics.

My memory could be faulty but perhaps AAA Travel may have information.
My suggestion is for the you and your wife get a family doctor and then go to the clinic.
It is likely that your doctor would know the clinics.

Why Doctor? If your wife develops a problem in the clinic.
There question would be Who is your Doctor?
If the answer is we do not have one, your problem got a lot bigger.

I was asked to set this up for a traveler. The doctor designate asked Why Doctor?

I hope this helps.
