How long for Visa for working purpose?

I applied for this Visa little over six month ago. How long does it take to get this Visa? I have a trip coming up in three weeks and I don't know how long this usually takes. I had talked to lawyer that my brother hired but he is giving me bs about New Haitian law. I see 15 days in the US but how long does this usually take in DR???

The visa should be processed in approximately 10 business days. The consulates in Haiti are experiencing some serious delays with visas taking over 1 month to be processed.

You should visit the Consulate where the application as filed to find out if there is something missing in your file.
