How bad is the seaweed in Las Terrenas? It sounds like the Caribbean, Mexico and some of the southern US is getting it pretty bad this year. What has been the local affect in LT?

I was there a couple of days ago and went to three beaches and didn't see one tiny piece of seaweed at all.

I just got back from Las Terrenas and I can confirm there is no seaweed problem at the local beaches. However, the beach across from Colibri was definitely nicest groomed. They rake whatever seaweed comes ashore and their shoreline and sand look pristine.
