So with cedula and residency a foreigner can bring personal stuff once without custom...
But could I bring stuff another time, later, if I put it on my Gf's name for instance who is domincan?
:)

You can bring in personal items/furniture/car/etc., only within the first 6 months after receiving residency.

Your girlfriend cannot. The only Dominicans who can get the customs discount have to be living in another country, and be 'returning' to live in DR. They have to prove they have not been living in DR for the past 2 years [less than 6 months total during the 2 prior years].

they ship from NYC & MIA mostly for a flat fee... importation included.

Deliver to your door.

I have shipped mucho..... 4'x4'x8' crates of furniture - 2 of 'em
.lawn mower, BBQ (2)........... you name it.
Mower = $110, BBQ about the same

Simple, affordable, stress free.
