I have discovered something quite interesting. When I connect to dr1 using Microsoft 's IE6 it takes a frustratingly long time for the DR1 Forums to open. I click on Forums, then wait. However, when I connect using a lite browser that I am testing, K-Meleon, it opens virtually immediately (I have DSL from codetel).
I have discovered that K-Meleon us usually faster than IE, and it uses very little resources. It isn't a replacement for IE, since so much of the internet is tied to it, but it is proving to be a very helpful alternative.
