Hi everyone,

I just arrived in Santiago to work there.
I know there are not lots of expats here, but if someone comes by, it would be really nice to have a talk !

Have a nice day,

Manon

Welcome to Santiago. You might be surprised. I think most of us who live here tend to keep a low profile.

Welcome to Santiago. I agree with the above---there are really thousands of US-Canadian-European citizens here, plus hundreds from South America.

The Centro Espa?ol or the Santiago Golf Club are places where many congregate.

The Hillbilly Hovel usually receives newbies with good coffee...

Welcome to Santiago. We are many Expats living in Santiago. Let us know if you would like to meet us any time. My husband
and a group of @ 5 more Americans meet for coffee and chatting every week. Also if you are interested in finding an English
speaking Christian Church you are always welcome to International Christian Church (ICC).

Hi everyone,
Thank you very much for your answers !
That's nice to hear from you.
I'm 23, and expats or not, it would be nice to talk and meet you.
I wonder what you are all doing here ?
Well, if you like to "keep a low profile", maybe you won't tell me...! :D

I'm not an expat, but welcome to Santiago. It looks like people either hated or love it here.

I recently moved up here in June. Living in Gurabo. I hate it. Can't wait to move back down to Santo Domingo.
