I read a posting asking for Popular Bank code. I am retired from the Army and living in DR. I wanted an account that I can have my Army retirement check deposited into. I open a saving account (dollars). You have to deposit $500 us to open and complete the 1199-I form and fax it to the DFAS. Most employees at the bank do not know what a bank code or branch code is. FYI the Bank Code is 007 the Branch code is 00702.
