i have two small armchairs and two small glass top tables i want to give new lease of life to. what paint should i ask for and what is it called in spanish? how much would i need? i want as close to original light brown as possible. is there maybe something like tinted polish/gloss? i don't want to rely exclusively on ferreteria staff.
thanks in advance.

I would just give it a coat of varnish (barniz)... clear, - satin finish or glossy.

Comes in liquid or spray.

That way , you still have the original colour.

The strongest (longest lasting) is marine varnish.
I use it on my wooden doors.

Gloss is the shiny one.... satin is less 'brillo'

up to you.... personal preference

they'll have a sample, usually.

Go with what WW says. If "worn" you can get a small can of stain the same color to touch up the spots. Two coats of spray polyurethane satin finish and you should be set to go.

I think Satin is demi-brillo..... you'll figure it out...

the one that isn't 'brillo'

Stain is the colouring... you'll see it... it will paint on.
The barniz can spray on....

so you'll paint the stain/colour on and then spray the clear varnish to lock it in.

Smart thing like you..... easy peasy...
