Well they finally opened the new Supermercado La Fuente on Av. Antonio Guzman after crossing over the main bridge, a mile or so pass Campo de Golf.

The area is known as La Barranquita, Santiago.

Should be quite a blessing not having to go into the city for many items.
They are currently still running specials, such as 2 liter Coca Cola for $39.95.

I met Don Luis a few years ago when he returned to DR from the US, early 90s that's when he opened the first small Supermercado la Fuente today Hipermercado La Fuente.

Congratulation for the new facility!
