Fan or V Belt

I'm replacing the belts on the engine of our boat and in doing so, I was asking my wife how to refer to the fan belts in Spanish. She called them "Goma de Moto". This just didn't sound right, but I'm sure it's not correa de abanico or correo de moto, so I thought I'd ask the question on DR1.

So correa por bomba de agua ?? I know I just take them with me, but I was interested in the correct words.. Thanks Fish!!

fan belt would be translated as correa de abanico
I don't know if that is also the name it's being called by the spare part shop, but that's how it would be translated

Just because Google translate gives that answer, does not mean that's what the Dominican mechanic calls it
