I am English. I don't answer to "Brit". But I think you would be surprised by how many there are here.

Anyway, I second your good wishes for 2016.

I carried a passport from the UK for many years , proud to have been at school and university in England, proud to be an Anglican and proud of what remains of my family in England. I think that I saw the best of England from about 1950 to 1980 then I was posted overseas.. I still belong to my two golf clubs, still return for Holy Week in London but it is horrid for my arthritis.
Happy new year to all Poms ..God save the Queen .

You are a traveler too...it is in our blood. Enjoy 2016

I have to add one thing.....football....soccer is taking off in DR and thanks to the exposure to the Premier League on CDN.

Happy New Year to all the Brits and everyone else (me included) who are not a Brit. There are a few of us other folks around as well
