Last year some of the local expats were complaining about an influx of guys coming to Sosua on Thursdays and leaving on Sundays - this was because there were cheap flights out of New York - I dont live in New York but I am having a hard time booking from Toronto on a Thursday to Sunday frame - gonna do the week between too not just the 4 days - anyway - I am not able to find these flights - who puts them on - not having any luck with expedia etc - it must be some charter group

Where is YYT airport or similar? I was looking for ticket from POP to ATL and the cheapest that popped up was thru YYsomething with a 23 hour layover there, and something about Canadian airlines. I blew it off. I spent 24 hours in ATL one Christmas day. But still curious whee that flight touched down.

That was the first and last time I have purchased a round trip ticket for less than $300.
In fact last year I flew down on Jetblue on a free ticket that nearly cost that much. I think my free ticket was almost $150 after all the fees and taxes I had to pay.
Sad, all my tickets of late have been around $550 to $600.

her boyfriend clawed back $660

Jet Blue is more expensive than others to PUJ, unless you get a good sale. I have been flying Southwest lately. $400/RT from Boston, including 2 checked bags.We couldn't have gone anyway.

Thanks v much Guillermo - i will look at sunwing if i can bump that forward 1 week I am set - no Jet blue out of Toronto - but Buffalo is easy also so I might try that too
