SDQ to Belize
Dont see where i can select the layover locations. Only see Panama and Miami depending on carrier. All overpriced and 12plus hours. Prefer to avoid touching USA and the ridiculous customs attitudes! Who would of thought its the same time and cost to go to Canada as to Belize!
When are you planning to travel? Aeromexico is starting flihts from Santo Domingo this March 15. Maybe is a good option for you.
What is Aeromexico? just looks like another expedia? I am still trying to find the best routes, best prices to do a DR to Belize return?
I don't know about at present, but at one time there was only international hub in Mexico and all international flights started or ended in Mexico DF

Splitting up the tickets by flying return SDQ to MEX then MEX to Belize, and the same coming back sounds expensive and time consuming. Again its sad when it takes the same time to fly to euro/canada/ maybe even Asia than between 2 caribbean destinations.
Just checked the MEX option through AEROMEXICO just that return part is over 1000usd plus another 650 for the belize mexico with return layover in san salvador. Not much of an option

With condor from SDQ to San Jose you can get fares as low as 339.00 US round trip, and from there maybe you can get good deal with aother airline.
I mean not direct with condor, their fares are always cheaper than copa to San Jose from Santo Domingo, maybe from San Jose they have flights to Belize with a diferent airline.
The airlines serving Belize says it all. With a population of just over 300k and no airline links with the nearest Caribbean countries being Cayman and Jamaica tells you to forget inter Caribbean links and look for a SDQ to US connection or perhaps via Copa/Avianca.
