All good things come to an end

It looks to me as if one of the most beautiful areas and sections of beach in the DR have been permanently removed from use or view by residents of the island. Priced for the rich and famous I'm sure it's natural beauty will ensure a profitable venture and the local economy will benefit from the jobs provided. I guess the affluent need a place to play but it sure seems a shame to have such a spectacular section of the island walled off. I wonder if the caddie fees will be commensurate with the $325 greens fees and the $900 per night accommodations?

Like many of you all, I have played the course in the "good old days" with my friends (I have the photos--Grahame!!) and my son.
I have some beautiful and some awful memories of that place.

Nice to know that they got the place back in shape...
