Not sure whether to post this in the business section or what, but anyway I was just wondering If I put some money in the bank (US Dollars) what kind of interest can I expect to get on a dollar account, certificates, etc. The reason I'm asking is because I was thinking to take out a home equity loan which I could get for around 7%/year and put that money in a bank in the DR if I could get a much higher interest rate. Would this be worth it? That way I hope I could make the payments with the interest I get back. Your comments would be appreciated.
