Protest march also against abortion and moral decline

The actions against the Ambassador James Wally Brewster of the United States continued Wednesday with a protest march through the streets of Puerto Plata. But it was not only a protest against the presence of the ambassador of the US who lives with a man. It was also a protest against moral decline in general and abortion in particular.

Protest march

Led by priests of the Catholic Church and with the assistance of neighborhood associations, sports clubs, universities and schools there was a protest march organized on Wednesday April 20 from 9 AM through the streets of Puerto Plata. The start was at the Malec?n opposite the fire station. The march headed towards the US Consulate. At the consulate the people shouted slogans like 'respect our constitution'. The participants carried placards along with inscriptions of 'protecting our values and protect the family'. The tour ended at the office of the Regional Institute of Education where a document was handed over to demand the management that the Educational Institute looks to it that the traditional family is preserved.
