My now-deceased next door neighbor in Tennessee, was a SGT MAJ in the Army during this time, and used to fly DAILY from Fort Bragg, North Carolina to somewhere near Higuey and then make a return flight every night....did this for the entire time the Americans were "occupiers" here. He learned to like Brugal and Cigars.

The thing that no one can understand is if Bosch was labeled as a communist how come he was exiled in Puerto Rico and not in Cuba.
And why do the USA government allowed him to go to Puerto Rico if he was a communist. The true story behind the invasion was because
John F Kennedy had a CIA training camp in the mountains of Barahona and they were training there without Bosch knowing anything about
Training to take down Jean Claude Duvalier the Haitian dictator. When Bosch found out about that he was getting ready for denounce it
in front of the OEAS and Kennedy then conspired with many Dominican military whom were not happy with the government because
they didn't have the power to do outside business with American companies such as the Golf and Western then owner of Central Romana and Casa de Campo.
This was the start of the revolution after Kennedy offered his support to those military guys and also big businessmen of those days
with the help of the Golf and Western whom had the influence on Kennedy and told all the lies.

Maybe he was sent to Puerto Rico because his mother was Puerto Rican and he had a legal right to do so.
