There was a lot more going on at this place than just pay-for-play, with the confiscation of guns and high-end vehicles.

As for the women, Dominicans, like any other nationality, get sick of the home-grown putas and desire more exotic fare, especially the guys who can afford to pay more than 500 pesos for a dusty-ass barrio tramp.

Go to a high-end cathouse in the "capitay" and you'll see Russian and Ukrainian women plying their wares. There's nothing a wealthy Dominican monger loves more than a blonde white woman.

see here in the DR its not hard to get some action, because we like to party and enjoy ourselves, not prostitution which i have no problem
with if she is doing it on her free will with no 3rd party control.
anyway , if threesome , foursomes is ya thing .... its fairly easy to get it going here, women here like anywhere on the planet ... depends on ya game ...
now if ya some bald old foreigner or fat slob who couldnt date a girl from his original country well not much difference here , then go figure..
as for swingers clubs in the DR , i know of only one

From the DR1 news;

Fighting Child Pornography

Attorney General Francisco Dominguez Brito says that major initiatives are underway in the country to prevent the Dominican Republic from being used as a sex tourism destination. He said that these initiatives seek to prevent vulnerable citizens from becoming victims of sex crimes, especially in tourism destinations. He was speaking during the opening of the First International Congress to Fight Online Child Pornography at the Attorney General Office auditorium yesterday, Thursday 5 May 2016. Dominguez said the country now has the software and equipment needed for fighting this crime. He said they have focused on the destinations of Puerto Plata and Punta Cana.

Dominguez Brito expressed optimism that the practice has been eradicated in Puerto Plata, and mentioned the case of Las Conejitas, the nightclub that was dismantled in Bavaro (Punta Cana).

He stated that for the first time the Dominican Republic is being recognized as one of the countries fighting people trafficking most effectively, with the largest number of rulings in these cases and the dismantling of trafficking structures.

Given the events in Santiago......

Is Santo Domingo next?

Why docent the DR government make prostitution illegal ? if the want to stop sex tourism

Do you actually believe prohibition would work? Doesn't work in the first world what makes you think it would work in the DR?

Have no idea if it would work . Just asking if the government wants to stop sex tourism they should make prostitution illegal
