As I discovered after my last bout with dengue,
there is a school of thought that says you are NOT immune for life after suffering each type .

The immunity is short - like 6-8 months.

The news for dengue doesn't seem to be good news.
What would we expect? It's a wide spread, probably ancient disease

Very interesting and informative article Windy. Pregnant ladies are at such a risk. Hopefully success with these vaccinations will come soon enough. Lately the news is all about Zika but one cannot neglect Dengue by any means.

And, with Dengue, if you had one of the four versions and you get another version, the symptoms can be magnified. Yes, Dengue is the toughest one to control.
