Hi! We just moved to Sosua, a single father with two tween kids, wondering if anyone could help me out
with any recommendations on where to get health/medical insurance for me and my kids and approximately how
much I should expect to pay.

Go to Seguros Kling & Asoc. Plaza Colonial, Sosua
Different kind of insurance also different prices,
This is the phone nr. 809 571 3360, you can ask how much you have to pay.

Humano plan royal for wife and 2 kids was 26k rd for 6mo. coverage is not that bad, do not have the rider for meds.

Study up on this....

Mike Fisher advised a while back that coverage for non-residents carries a lower limit than for residents.
Just be aware.
His friend was 'caught short' a few thousand $$$ , not pesos

True that 65 is the cut off to apply for insurance. Be sure to ask any plan you consider what happens to the rates as you get older and how much is the lifetime limit they will pay.
