This article and video in Diario Libre today may interest some for those living on the East Coast albeit the posted guided tour price from Bavaro seems most excessive when one sees what a guide and mule costs if you self drive there.

The waterfall is apparently the tallest in the Caribbean at 120 meters and I guess not so many now about it. The respective provinces were arguing about in which province it lay too.
