Net -net: not for tourists and non-residents. Don't try to bring them in. Don't try to buy them here. Do not pass Go, do not collect $200.

It was expensive in the past for Dominicans, it's being made more difficult.

If you feel the need to own a gun here, perhaps you should think about moving/ living
somewhere else. Owning a gun in this country makes you a target for every ladrone on the
island as they are worth a lot of money on the black market.

Heaven forbid you actually have to use it on someone, then you will learn how
justice (or lack there of) really works in a third world country. Its a bad idea start to finish.

They are the ones who seem to need guns as soon as they arrive here.

There is a direct correlation between the Ugly Tourist and more than a few 'Muricans.

If you really feel the need to have/carry weapons in other countries, then you should join the military. They'll give you plenty.
