We were lucky enough to get the name and number of a great taxi driver when we arrived here in Puerto Plata with whom we utilized quite a bit while here. He was very reliable and personable, his vehicle was always clean, charged us fair prices and speaks pretty good English as well. We also really enjoyed his wife's great Dominican food cooking on multiple occasions!
Since we are about to head out to the B?varo area to live for a while, does anyone have a taxi driver they could recommend to us who is reliable, charges fair prices and preferably has at least average English speaking abilities as well?
