Nope --- and not holding out any hope..

I get the AZS flights all summer & fall from Canada.

My PHL & NYC life are screwed thanks to that cancellation

Thinking more,
Until the north coast is more/better developed, AZS will not attract flights.

There simply are too few beds to necessitate more flights....
Many on my flights (US or Cdn) are going to Sto Dom
Remember, Canada has no SDQ flights, that I know of.... and AZS is the easiest commute

Well, you can fly YYZ to SDQ on Aeromexico for the low price of $389 return.

You just have to deal with a 12 hour layover in Mexico City. :classic:
There are other options, but they all involve a layover. I think Delta's is only 1 hr in Atlanta, but they are all stupid money in price.

Closest option is La Romana and that is only available December to April on WJ.

Just booked a flight for my wife
- March,
YYZ to AZS -- R/T for under $400US..... $500CAD

The fly down leg (a seasonal Tuesday flight) appeared almost empty from the seat map.
I hope WestJet doesn't inherit JetBlue's problem of low volume.

Seen any news on Jet Blue to AZS Willy?

I sent JetBlue Customer Service an e-mail about a month ago asking why the JFK/AZS flight was cancelled. Of course, they gave me corportate bs saying it was not profitable. I think it is just a matter of time before some other airline starts offering flights to AZS out of NYC. I'll keep an eye out.

LT needs more rooms to accept more people, is my guess.

Just not enough space to justify more flights......yet

I think it is more the airport fees in the DR that discourages airlines to keep marginal routes. You would think that if JetBlue had one flight a week into AZS it would be full in the high season. Hopefully something will change

This winter season airtransat open flights from Toronto to SDQ every sunday.. Very good prices, bad part is there is not conections options.

Im going to YOW for eastern and I had to book my flight departuring from LRM. When I booked was 487.00 US$ and 2 days after went up to 570.00. Searching from PUJ flith was 770.00 US$ very very expensive.
