Bringing a Cat

In conjunction with the dog thread,

I don't recall ever seeing the requirements for importing a cat.

I am chasing a Bengal/Siberian cross and wonder what's need at the airport - incoming.
One way trip - no exit plans at this point.

You need to certificate of health from a vet (in spanish). Rabies injections within 30 days. Then you should just pay a US$10 fee at border control.

However, don't be surprised if there is a 'tax' on the cat. We had that when it got to customs at Punta Cana.

I have never done the Spanish (w/ dogs) but watch them as read the paperwork.

They go straight to the rabies shot date........ seems to be all they care about.
