i m from UAE originally from Jordan, working in UAE since 2010 in a real estate firm. Ready to explore places outside the box, i m looking for different places that others won't have in their list for now and i guess Tenerife is one of them, i heard much about in Wikipedia and was looking for a better community to get along with more people including native and tourists.

Yes, Tenerife is in the Canary Islands, but coincidentally or not, that's where many of DR's original Spanish settlers came from. Most of them settled in Santo Domingo in the sector called San Carlos de Tenerife.*
