Airbus 300/310/320/340 they are very good and economic fuel aircraft's.

Stanley in the USA Airports, you will see in a daly basis , airlines returning aircraft to the gates due to mech problems.

AA is just now the Big attention in the industry right now.

I hope the Aviation will return to normal.

Aviation = Safe

Stanley the Airbuss A-300 is a fine Aircraft specially the models flown by American Airlines (A300-600),
These Aircrat have shown to be highly reliable and their wing design is so advanced that flying the Caribbean routes ( medium haul) with these models is more profitable for AA than flying the MD-11. ( Reason Why they are popular in the Caribbean)

The Engines ( model CF-80 ) are not manufactured by Airbus itself but by the Highly reliable General Electric company..Everybody knows that even a lightbulb from GE is reliable..

Flying is a serious business and that's why "ALL" Aircraft have to comply with Chapter 14 of the CFR (Code of Federal Rules) Controlled/Supervised by the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration www.FAA.Gov)
All Twin Engines passenger aircraft are strictly governed by ETOPS regulations ( Extended Twin Engine Opeation or as We know it in aviation Engine Turning Or Passenger Swimmings!)
So your statement that these Aircraft do not meet the required Maintenance regulations are highly unprobable..

Accidents do happen because some times their are beyond human control/avoidance or because series of events combine to form one..
I recomend to you to visit the NTSB Homepage and review the accident/Incident History of this and other Aircraft ( www.NTSB.gov)

We as Dominicans tend to rush to conclusions without any knowledge of the topic..( no seamos ignorantes )
