Thanks HB

Fifty years to the day??/ Really.......now theres a trivia question! Canada deserved to finally win a gold medal.....it was a long time coming, Leave it up to the Geatest player ever to put together the proper guys to bring it home!!!!!!Way to go Canada!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gretsky the great one put it together, along with his staff, they deserve a medal also. When will the IOC smarten up and give the builders their due.
In the World when it comes to Hockey CANADA IS #1
Doug and I will volunteer to coach the Dominican Hockey team in 2006 if HB will do the leg work and get some government funds from Hippo to support it. And will will try to bring Grapes along as an advisor.

Best hockey game I have seen in a long time. Woohooooo! Canada! What a great day. We headed to our small downtown.I've never seen so many people there since the Blue Jays won. Teens were playing hockey right in the middle of the road.

Hate to be a spoil sport:

North NHL 5
South NHL 2

I miss it when we had real Olympic Hockey.

And what about the Russian NHL? The Swedish NHL?

The Olympics to me are the best athletes in the world competing for gold. These people play in the NHL, is there any surprise?

PS - Yes, the party at the sattelite bar in Cabarete was unreal. Complete with a carnaval street dancers during the second intermission (pig bladders and the whole deal). We were all pretty stoked.

Boring olympics

These were really boring olympics.....I wanted to see a gold medal final between the Jamaican and Puerto Rican Bobsleigh Teams.

I wanted to see To?o Rosario in the Luge. Why didn't we have an ice belly dancing competition so we could have Vannessa Angulo and her team in there?

Peggy Cabral looks like a good ice-skating judge. She can hardly smile. Luis Miguel should have sung every national anthem.

Why can't we have the luge in reverse. I thinks is harder to climb back with your legs up the hill than downhill. It would even be more fun taking the walls off from the Bobsleigh and Luge.

I would love to see baseball on ice, with tight body suits so Dominicans can compete. Has anybody suggested ice-fishing to the Olympic Committee. I would vote for it.

I would also like to see a Frostbite Challenge with the teams placed in an frozen room with an easy exit door for the losers.

I want some changes in the Ski Jump. How about backwards landing on the short end of the skis? Is this all they do in Finland? Ok, what is the equivalent of San Pedro de Macoris in Finland? Do they have any chopo barrios in Helsinki? Can there be satin blond chopos?

The requirements to be a Ski Jumper are the same as those for Jockeys at the racetracks. Jockeys are five times smaller than the horses and Ski Jumpers equally smaller than their skis. I love to see the sport anyway.

The Dominican Ice Hockey team from Corona, Queens can beat the Canadians anytime. They just don't have any skates, uniforms or sticks. But you gotta see these guys at the World's Fair Ring chasing the girls.

I confess. My favorite winter sports are 1)The Bobsleighs 2)The "Finland" Ski Jump 3)The Luge 4)Downhill Skiing. I hate winter team sports, except for the four man-Bobsleigh, the most exciting of them all. This is the equivalent of racing a fast car. I love the shine, color and design on those bobsleds and the uniforms are super sharp.
